You now have the option to set up workflows in order to receive notifications through email or system alerts, providing increased flexibility. Moreover, you have the option to make personalized notification templates or utilize pre-existing ones, like those designed for changes to records or task assignments.

From Now On

In the future, you will have the option to sign up for notifications about certain records or fields, so you will only get relevant information. The revised Notification Recipients panel lets you pick multiple users and choose specific fields associated with them (such as the owner of the record or the assigned user), ensuring notifications are focused and pertinent.
